Goal Association Filters are not Being Applied Correctly When Adding Goal Alignments

Goal categories are not being filtered properly when adding alignments to course content items.

Description

Goal categories are not being filtered properly when adding alignments to course content items. The default filter shows "All Categories" instead of the category for the specific goal.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log in to Blackboard Learn as an administrator

  2. Go to System Administrator page > Tools and Utilities > Goals

  3. Find a _Goal Set_ or Add a _Goal Set_ in case there are no _Goal Sets_ available

  4. Click on "Add Category" (Second column on the Right) and provide the information for the category

  5. Click on "Add Goal" (Third column on the Right); provide the information for the Goal

  6. Click on the "Chevron" button located on the Right-hand side of the Goal and select _Create Child Goal_

  7. Add a couple of child goals

  8. Go to System Administrator page > Courses > Courses

  9. Search for an existing course or create a new one (Original view course)

  10. Go to Course Menu > Control Panel > Course Tools > Goals > Add Association

  11. Select the Goal created in step 5 and click on Submit

  12. Navigate back to the _Goals_ tool page

  13. Navigate to a content area in the course

  14. Find an assessment (Assignment/Test) or create a new one

  15. Click on the "Chevron" button and select _Add Alignments_

Observed Behavior:
All of the goals for the main goal set are selected. "All Categories" is selected instead of the child goal category
​Expected Behavior:
Only the child goal category is selected, showing only those goals in the queue displayed to the user

Resolution / Workaround

Filter manually the child goals sets
