Rubric Grade is Not Correctly Converted to Percentage

Rubric score displays the value in percentage instead of points when the Final grade (Display) is changed from points to percentage in the assessment setting.

Description

When the assessment's Final Grade (Display) setting is changed from Points to Percentage, the rubric score is incorrectly displayed as a percentage instead of remaining in points.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn as Administrator

  2. Create an assignment and rubric, then attach the rubric to the assignment

  3. Under the Assignment settings, set "Grade using" to Points

  4. Set a maximum of points according to the rubric

  5. Login as a student and submit the assignment

  6. Login as Instructor/Admin and grade the attempt with the rubric

  7. Notice the Rubric score and the Final grade both have the Points as Grade

  8. Now, go to Assignment settings and change "Grade using" from Points to Percentage, save changes.

  9. Go to the Gradebook and open the student's attempt

  10. Check the Rubric score and the Final Grade

Expected Behavior:

The Rubric score value should be displayed using points.

Observed Behavior:

The rubric score is displayed using the percentage value as if it were a point value. For example, a grade of 70% is incorrectly shown as 70/20 instead of being properly converted based on the rubric's point scale.
