Steps to Replicate
Log into Blackboard Learn as an Administrator (The issue can be reproduced by logging in as an Instructor as well)
Go to the System Administrator page > Courses > Courses
Create an Original view course or search for an existing one
In the course, go to a content area
Hover over Assessments, then, select, Assignment
Add an existing rubric from the Assignment settings page or create a new one (Click Here for more details on how to create/manage Rubrics)
Enable Student Preview (Alternatively, you can log in as a student)
Submit an attempt for the assignment created in step 5
Disable Student Preview (Or log in as an Administrator/Instructor once again)
In the course, go to Course Menu > Control Panel > Grade Center > Full Grade Center
View the attempt submitted in step 8
Open the Feedback to Learner panel (Click on the light blue bar in the Assignment Details section, which is located on the right-hand side of the attempt)
Type the feedback in the text box and click on Save Draft
View the attempt from the Grade Center once again
Open the Rubric panel (Click on the light blue bar in the Assignment Details section, then, click on the Rubric name)
Grade each category in the Rubric
Note that the Raw Total is shown as 0.00/15 (This is an example, the total value depends on the Rubric settings)
Click on Save Rubric
Observed Behavior:
The Total for the grade is shown as 0.00 when the Feedback to Learner text is saved as a Draft.
Expected Behavior:
The Total for the grade should match the total value according to the rubric categories, regardless of whether the Feedback to Learner is saved as a draft.
