Description
In Ultra View Mode, PDF documents are slowly rendered when using a Safari browser. Sometimes the next pages turn grey and cannot be rendered.
Steps to Replicate
Prerequisite: Create/get a PDF document that has more than one page, and an iOS device with Safari browser installed.
Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
Create and access an Ultra course
Go to Course Content > Ꚛ Add Content> Upload > Upload the PDF document
View the uploaded PDF using a Safari browser
Observed Behavior:
It will take a long time to load the first page of the PDF document, the next pages will take a longer time to be rendered while scrolling down, and sometimes they don’t (a grey frame will appear).
Expected Behavior:
The PDF document can be loaded fast, and all pages can be rendered.
Resolution / Workaround
Use a different browser App other than Safari.
