Missing Bb Annotate Annotations on Production After a Migration

After migrating Bb Annotate annotations will not load for previously annotated submissions in the environment, even though they are accessible in the migration environment.

Description

Previously annotated submissions will not display correctly in the environment after the migration has been completed. When opening an affected submission, Bb Annotate will display a blank page instead of the annotated document.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn as an administrator

  2. Complete a Migration for a course that contains Previously Annotated student Submissions

  3. Navigate to Administrator Panel > Courses

  4. Access the Migrated Course

  5. Open the Full Grade Center

  6. Open a student Submission that contained Bb Annotate annotations prior to the migration

Observed Behavior:
A blank page is displayed instead of the annotated submission, and the Bb Annotate viewer does not load.

Expected Behavior:
The previously annotated submission loads successfully in the Bb Annotate viewer after the migration.
