Description
When an annotated PDF containing comment annotations is downloaded and then re-uploaded as an assignment submission, the comment annotations are displayed as yellow rectangular highlights in the instructor preview.
Steps to Replicate
Log into Blackboard Learn as an instructor
Navigate into a course and create an assignment
Log in as a student navigating to the assignment in the course and submit an attempt uploading a PDF
Log in as the instructor and open the submitted student attempt
Add one or more comment annotations then download the annotated PDF
Create a second assignment
Log in as the student navigating to the second assignment to submit an attempt uploading the annotated PDF
Log in as the instructor and open the student submission for the second assignment
Observed Behavior:
The annotations become flattened as yellow rectangle annotations.
Expected Behavior:
The annotations in the PDF display as they do in the source file.
