Idle sessions may affect how images become saved in Test questions

Reproducing this known is consistently a challenge. The steps to replicate describe a typical path where the issue has been observed.

If a user navigates away from editing a Test question containing images and later returns to save the question, the images can be held in 'sessions' temporary storage.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an instructor

  2. Navigate into an Ultra View course

  3. Create or edit a test question

  4. Upload an image using the content editor

  5. Continue editing for several minutes in addition to leaving the page idle to perform other actions before saving

  6. Save the question

  7. Open the saved question and verify whether the image renders correctly.

Observed Behavior:
The image may appear broken and, in some cases, the image reference points to a temporary session-based path (e.g. containing /sessions/...)

Expected Behavior:
The image renders correctly after saving and reopening the question.
