Description
In Ultra view mode, while grading essay questions in a test, instructors can initially enter non-whole number scores without issue. However, after several edits or score entries, the system unexpectedly displays the error message "Please type a valid number" for the most recently entered non-whole score. At this point, the score cannot be saved.
Steps to Replicate
Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
Create and access an Ultra course > Create a test containing multiple Essay questions
Create two users, an instructor and a student > Enroll these users in the course created in step 2
Log in as the student-created in step 3 > Attempt the test created in step 2
Log in as the Instructor
Open the submitted test in step 4 and begin grading
Enter non-whole number scores (e.g., 0.5, 0.3, 0.8) for the essay questions
Modify and enter scores multiple times
Observed Behavior:
Eventually, one of the entries triggers the error message "Please type a valid number", and the score cannot be saved.
Expected Behavior:
All scores can be given without an issue.
