Fill in the blank Questions may be skipped during Question Bank exports

Description

In certain situations fill in blank questions may be skipped when users export Question Banks.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator

  2. Navigate into a course

  3. Select Manage Banks > select + > click New

  4. Create a new Question Bank with Fill in the blank questions with Response type as Math a Pattern

  5. Save and exit the Question Bank

  6. Click the ellipsis menu > select Export QTI 2.1 Package

  7. Review the exported package

Observed Behavior:

The log states the Question bank exported successfully, however the file does not contain the Fill in the blank question(s). Viewing the system task status log shows that the questions were skipped.

Expected Behavior:

The export file contains the Fill in the blank question(s).
