Course does not fully conform to imposed quota allocations/sizing and demonstrates inconsistent behavior regarding the uploading of content.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn as a System Administrator

  2. Create a Course

  3. Set the Course's Quota to a low value, like 1MB

  4. Access the Course and click Upload

  5. Select a SCORM package that is over 1MB

Expected Behavior:
The upload fails
​Observed Behavior:
The upload fails with the error:
​ Oops! Something went wrong
​

  1. Click Create > SCORM Package

  2. Select a SCORM package that is over 1MB

Expected Behavior:
The upload fails
​Observed Behavior:
The upload is successful

Resolution / Workaround

SCORM files are not stored like other file uplaods; the data is stored in the course temporarily, before being moved to the database.
