Cannot Delete Sources from Goal Search when No Goals Attached

Goal Sources in the Goal search cannot be deleted, and are not clearing once a Goal Set is removed.

Description

When Goals are created via HTML with Sources included, once the Goal is deleted, the Sources stay under the search selection, even when there are no Goals attached to the Source.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn as a System Administrator

  2. Navigate to System Admin > Goals and Assessments

  3. Import a Goal Set with a Source via HTML

  4. Delete the Goal Set

  5. Click the Search button

Expected Behavior:
The Source is not present in the Search

The Source is present in the Search

Resolution / Workaround

This can be resolved with a database cleanup task.
