Description
When copying a single item, unexpected Course content items are copied alongside selected.
Steps to Replicate
Navigate to System Admin > Courses
Create a new empty Course
Navigate back to System Admin > Courses
Search for a Course ID with content
Once in the Course navigate to a content item
Click Chevron for the content and select copy
Under Destination select the empty Course you made from step 2.
For destination folder select Content
Use Defaults for Copy Alignments and Attachments and Embedded Links
Submit
Observed Behavior:
Entire sections of the Course content that is unrelated is copied with the single item. If copying more than one single item the Course content of the target Course can become huge. Under attachments and Embedded Links if you select the first option "Copy links to attached and embedded files" it does not copy any of the unnecessary content. However, the content that is copied by default into the new Course content is seemingly unrelated to the item being copied.
