Description
When performing a course copy and excluding Announcements from the copy, manually created Gradebook columns are not copied to the destination course.
Steps to Replicate
Log in to Blackboard Learn as an administrator
Navigate to System Admin > Courses > Create an Ultra Course
In the source course:
Create two assignments
Create two announcements
Create two manually created Gradebook columns
Create a second Ultra course to use as the destination
Open the destination course
Select Copy Items
Search for and select the source course
Select all content items except Announcements
Start the course copy and wait for it to complete
Open the destination course and navigate to the Gradebook
Observed Behavior:
The assignments are copied successfully, and the announcements are correctly excluded. However, the manually created Gradebook columns are not copied to the destination course.
Expected Behavior:
Only the announcements are excluded from the course copy. The manually created Gradebook columns are copied successfully along with the rest of the selected course content.
