In Ultra Copy Content Will Not Copy Turnitin and Panopto Links Outside of Folders

In Ultra courses, when using the Copy Content tool, it is not possible to copy items such as Panopto videos and Turnitin assignments which are added at the top level of course content.

Description

In Ultra courses, when using the Copy Content tool, it is not possible to copy items such as Panopto videos and Turnitin assignments which are added at the top level of course content. If these items are located within a folder, they are copied into the new course within the folder, but if they are outside of a folder, they will not copy.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra as an Administrator

  2. Create 2 new courses: Course1, Course2

  3. In Course 1, create a folder

  4. Inside the folder, create a Panopto video link via Tools > Add Panopto video and a Turnitin assignment

  5. Outside the folder, create a Panopto video link and a Turnitin assignment

  6. Open Course2 > Click on the three dots at the top right of the Content Page > Copy Content

  7. Open Course1 and select the box next to Course Content > click Copy selected content

Observed Behavior:
Once the copy completes, only Panopto and TII links located inside the folder are copied into the new course.

All content is copied.
