Description
UEF does not expose a rendering target on Ultra course content pages, which prevents a partner integration from mounting a persistent UI component outside the course landing page.
Steps to Replicate
Prerequisite: A Ultra Extension Framework (UEF)-registered integration subscribed to portal and route events, logging the raw event stream.
Login to Blackboard Learn as administrator
Open an Ultra course with the ReadSpeaker integration enabled
Add a supported document to the Course Content page
Open the course in Student Preview
Select the document and verify that the“Open documents with docReader” banner appears in the correct location
Observed Behavior:
The“Open documents with docReader” banner appears in the lower-left corner of the Course Content page instead of within the document view.
Expected Behavior:
The docReader banner appears within the document view and does not overlap the Course Content page.
