Outcomes Collections Using Term Criteria Do not List Courses and Assignments with no Artifacts

When the 'Terms' criteria are used to collect data under the Outcomes Collection, no courses and assignments will be listed under the Collect tab if no artifacts were submitted.

Description

When the 'Terms' criteria are used to collect data under the Outcomes Collection, no courses and assignments will be listed under the Collect tab if no artifacts were submitted. However, courses and assignments would be listed with '0' number of artifacts if other criteria were chosen.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn with Original experience as an administrator

  2. Navigate to System Admin > Goals > Create a goal

  3. Under Courses module, Terms, create a term

  4. Under Courses module, Courses > Create a course and associate it with the created term in step 3

  5. Access the course > Create an assignment > Add Alignments > Choose the goal created in step 2 > Submit

  6. Navigate to the Outcomes Assessment page > Click on Collection Evidence > Under 'From Entire System', Check 'Selected Terms' > Find and choose the created term in step 3 > Enter a project name > Submit

  7. Open the collection to view

No courses and assignments are listed.
​Expected Behavior:
Courses and assignments are listed with '0' number of artifacts.
