Log in to Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator

Create and access an Ultra course

Enroll an instructor and at least one student user in the course

Log in as the instructor and open the course

Navigate to Course Content

Select + > Create > Learning Module

Open the learning module settings and enable Forced Sequence

Inside the learning module, select + > Create > Item > Enter a title for the item and set it to Visible to students > Select Save

Select + > Create > Folder

Open the folder > Select + > Create > Item

Open the item's visibility settings and select Release conditions

Under Select members, select Specific members or groups

Configure the release condition so that the enrolled student does not meet the condition > Select Save

Inside the same folder, select + > Create > Item > Enter a title for the second item and set it to Visible to students > Select Save

Return to the learning module > Select + > Create > Item > Set it to Visible to students > Select Save

Log in as the enrolled student who does not meet the release condition

Open the learning module > Complete the first item

Continue through the learning module in the forced sequence

Open the folder and complete the item that is visible to the student

Continue attempting to advance through the learning module
