Description
While anonymous grading is active, an instructor cannot allow an extra attempt for the group as there is no option present. However, an instructor can allow additional attempts for individual assignments while anonymous grading is on. The option appears after the anonymous grading is complete.
Steps to Replicate
Log into a Blackboard Learn SaaS (Original Experience) environment as Instructor
Navigate to a course > Create an individual anonymous assignment with a single attempt
Create a group anonymous assignment with single attempt and assign the assignment to the group
Enroll a Student into the course
Log in as Student
Submit submissions to both individual and group assignments
Login as Instructor
Navigate to Grade Center > Full Grade Center
Click on the chevron on the column for the Student and observe option to Allow Additional Attempt
Locate the group assignment column
Observed Behavior:
No chevron or option to allow an additional attempt is visible.
Expected Behavior:
The chevron and page to allow an additional attempt is available.
