Students have Option to Copy in Graded Group Forums

Students have option to copy in graded Group Forums.

Description

A past release updated it so Students could no longer edit graded Group Forums. During further review, the option to copy has stayed in tact. This allows Students to copy graded Forums which make new grade columns in the Grade Center. This action should not be available to Students or at the least the new copy should not be graded.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Login as an Admin or Instructor

  2. Enter a Course

  3. Go to Groups Page > Create a Group (manual)

  4. Click on new Group > Group Discussion Board > Group (Chevron) > Edit Forum

  5. Check off Grade Discussion Forum and enter possible points

  6. Login as Student and enter the Course

  7. Go to Groups > Group > Group Discussion Board > Group1(Chevron) > Edit

Expected Behavior:
Student cannot copy gradable Forums
​Observed Behavior:
Student can copy gradable Forums making new Grade Center columns
