Log into Blackboard Learn as an Administrator

Create a new user

Click on System Admin → Institutional Hierarchy

Click into an existing node or create a new node if needed and then click into that new node

Click on the Courses tab in the node and ensure there are existing courses listed. If needed, add several courses to that node using the Add Course button

After you have added a few courses, click the Administrator tab in that same node

Use the Add Administrators button to make the new user you created a Course Administrator

Login as this new user and note you will have access to the System Admin tab

Click into that and then on Courses

Click the Create Course dropdown and choose Restore

Scroll down and note you have access to the Restore From Automatic Archive area

Click the Browse Content Collection button beside Restore From Automatic Archives
