Description
Prohibit late submissions and Prohibit new attempts after the due date assessment settings ensures that submissions or new attempts cannot be started after the due date. However, if a due date exception is allocated to a student this personal due date should be respected when either of the two above mentioned options are enabled. In this case, the settings should apply on date X for the class, and on date Y for the student(s) with a due date exception.
Steps to Replicate
Log in to Blackboard Learn as an administrator
Navigate into a course with a student user enrolled and create an Assessment with a due date - enable Prohibit late submissions
Allocate a due date exception to the student using a date after the assessment's due date
Log in as the student after the assessment due date but before the user's exception due date and attempt a submission
Observed Behavior:
Submission is not possible.
Expected Behavior:
With the allocated exception it should be possible to submit.
