When a student submits a late submission of a test with Autograded Questions with Automatic Zeros and Post Grades automatically disabled, an alert is not Shown in the Gradebook

Description

When a student submits a late submission of a test with Autograded Questions, with Automatic Zeros and Post Grades automatically disabled, it will not show any notification or label for the instructor to know that there is a new submission.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator

  2. Create a new Ultra Course and access it

  3. Create a test with only Auto-marked questions

  4. Set a due date that has already passed, attempts allowed unlimited, and the option 'Post Grades Assessment Automatically' turned Off

  5. Go to Gradebook > Settings > Make sure Assign Automatic Zeros is enabled

  6. Access as a student or use the Student Preview and submit the test

  7. Exit the Student Preview and save the data

  8. Go to Gradebook > Grades

Observed Behavior:

The automatic zero is visible but there is no notification where the instructor knows that a user has made a new submission. If the user goes to 'Needs Grading', it doesn't show anything either.
Expected Behavior:

A label saying "New Submission" should be show so the instructor knows a new attempt has been submitted.
