Description
A NullPointerException error occurs when attempting to alter SafeAssign Building Block settings.
Symptoms
A message in the bb-services log containing the following error occurs:
java.lang.NullPointerException
Steps to Replicate
Log into Blackboard Learn as System Administrator
Navigate to the Administrator Panel
Select Building Blocks > click Installed Tools
Navigate to SafeAssign and expand the context menu > click Settings
Update settings as desired > click Save
Expected Behavior:
The user is returned to the list of Installed Tools after the SafeAssign settings are saved.
Observed Behavior:
An error is displayed.
