In Ultra courses, when accessing the Gradebook menu and adding items using the plus (+) icon, the newly added items are always placed at the bottom of the list. This behavior differs from the previous Learn version, where items were added at the location corresponding to the plus (+) icon that was selected.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log in to Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an Administrator

  2. Create an Ultra course

  3. Go to the gradebook menu

  4. Click on the (+) icon and add an item

  5. Add another item by clicking on the (+) icon that shows up above (in first place) the initial item

Observed Behavior:

The new item goes to the bottom of the list.

Expected Behavior:

The new item is created above the initial item.
