Log in to Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator

Navigate to System Admin > Courses > Create an Ultra Course

Create multiple gradable items in the course

Go to the Gradebook > Gear Option > Set up the Overall Grade

Set Calculation Type to Weighted, and confirm the grading schema is Points

Check the option: Calculate grades based on points earned out of total graded points

In the option Weigh gradable items within a category, select Equally

Within each category (Exams, Assignments, Discussions, etc.), drop at least one low score

Navigate to Gradebook > Grades

Click the Download Gradebook icon

Under Grade Records, select Full Gradebook

Under Record Details, select Overall Grade

Select Tab-separated File (.xls) as the file format

Click Download
