Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator

Create a new course and enrol a single student

Create a Test within the course

Enrol a student and complete the test using the student account

As the adminitrator or instructor, grade the test as 0

Go to the Gradebook

Under Markable Items add a new item using the plus symbol

Give the item a zero total, effectively creating an extra credit column

Give the student 100 points for the extra credit item

Created a weighted overall mark, not including the extra credit column
