Erratic Behavior Deleting Tables in Ultra Courses using Firefox

When attempting to delete a table from the Rich Text Editor In Ultra courses using Firefox, it is not possible to select and delete the table using the mouse. This behavior was not replicable in other browsers, such as Edge.

Description

When attempting to delete a table from the Rich Text Editor In Ultra courses using Firefox, it is not possible to select and delete the table using the mouse. This behavior was not replicable in other browsers, such as Edge.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Login to Blackboard Learn as an administrator or instructor

  2. In an Ultra course, create an assignment

  3. Enter Student preview and submit the work for the assignment of the previous step

  4. Exit student preview and choose save to preserve the attempt

  5. Expand the Overall Feedback section and add a table with some text in each cell, the table can be created using the text editor tools in the course or copy and paste from other spreadsheet software

  6. Try to delete the table

Observed Behavior: In Firefox, moving the cursor to the top cell and press 'Delete' to begin deleting the text, when the cursor is at the end of the cell, it pulls the text from the second cell into the first cell. Selecting the entire table, with the mouse, and pressing 'Delete' will delete the text but leaves an empty table. The only way to clear the table is using CTRL + A and then pressing 'Delete'.
Expected Behavior: The table should be deleted being consistent with other supported browsers.
