In Ultra view mode, when a user's computer is configured for UTC-08:00 Pacific Time (US & Canada) with the option to automatically adjust for daylight saving time enabled, the time zone associated with a release condition will change when an access date after November 1 is selected.

Steps to Replicate

Prerequisite: Set the computer's time zone to UTC-08:00 Pacific Time (US & Canada) and enable Adjust for daylight saving time automatically.

  1. Log in to Blackboard Learn as an administrator or instructor.

  2. Access an Ultra course

  3. Navigate to Course Content > Select + > Select Create > Select Test > Configure the test as needed

  4. Under Assessment Settings, set a due date after November 1

  5. Return to Course Content

  6. Locate the test and open its visibility options > Select Release conditions

  7. Under Rule 1, select Date/Time > Set the release condition access date to a date after November 1

  8. Review the time zone displayed for the release condition > Save the release condition settings

  9. Reopen the release condition settings for the test

Observed Behavior:

The time zone associated with the release condition changes to Pacific Standard Time (PST) when an access date after November 1 is selected.

Expected Behavior:

The time zone associated with the release condition changes should not change.
