Log into Blackboard Learn as an administrator

Navigate into the course Gradebook Grid View

Enter content in the Description field

Navigate to the Gradebook List View

Select to Edit the created item and check the Description field

1. Log into Blackboard Learn as an administrator
2. Create an Ultra View course
3. Navigate into the course Gradebook Grid View 
4. Click + Add Text Item
5. Open the Text Column Settings
6. Enter content in the Description field
7. Navigate to the Gradebook List View
8. Select to Edit the created item and check the Description field

The Description field displays the formatted content without exposing HTML code.
