Log into Blackboard Learn as an administrator

Create a course

Enroll some students and an instructor

Navigate to Full Grade Center and provide the grades for the enrolled students

Navigate to Administrator Panel > Building Blocks > Installed Tools > Blackboard Grade Journey Service > Settings

Select Grade Extract Settings (Outgoing Data) in the 'Grade Journey settings'

Ensure the check box is enabled for 'Lock on Approval'

Navigate to the newly created course and navigate to Full Grade Center

Under Full Grade Center click on Manage tab and select 'Grade Approval & Transfer tool'

Select the course in Grade Approval, Transfer tool and approve the grades

​​​​​​Log into Blackboard Learn as an administrator

Go to the administrator panel > under Cloud Management > Platform Extensions

Grade Export V1 > Edit settings

In Configure Grade export V1 page > turn on the 'Grade Export Availability'

In Grade Extract settings > General Settings > Select the Integration Type ad Normal Integration

In Grade Approval and Transfer Settings > in Grade Center read-only > Choose the Lock on Approval option to Immediately On Approval (or choose as required)
