Description
When creating a Learning Module with Release Conditions and a graded discussion as child content, the discussion continues to appear in the Discussions tab, the Calendar, and the Gradebook even when the Release Conditions of the parent folder are not yet met. The discussion remains visible and accessible to students, regardless of the parent module's Release Conditions.
This behavior is inconsistent with other child content types, which correctly inherit the parent folder's Release Conditions and remain inaccessible until those conditions are met.
Steps to Replicate
1.Log in to Blackboard Learn as anadministrator
2.Access an Ultra Course
3.Click (+) > Create > Folder
4.Set up a test folder with Release Conditions configured to show two days from the current date
5.Within the folder, click (+) > Create > Discussion
6.Set up a test discussion, enable grading, and set it as visible to students
Expected Behavior:
The discussion should not be accessible (and should not display in the Discussions tab, Calendar, or Gradebook) until the parent folder's Release Conditions are met.
Observed Behavior:
The discussion appears in the Discussions tab, Calendar, and Gradebook, and is accessible to students even when the parent folder's Release Conditions have not been me
