At this moment, changing the availability of content items for guests in the content area is not supported in the Blackboard Learn Ultra Course GUI.
Blackboard Learn Ultra and Original course types share the same underlying platform but they have different workflows and capabilities. At this moment it is possible to invite and allow guest users to Ultra courses but it is not possible to change the content items availability for this type of user in the GUI.
If changing the availability of content items in Ultra courses is needed, it can be done via REST API, however we recommend to avoid this alternative because it can represent a security risk of information disclosure in the event of an items with sensitive information or materials protected by copywrite.
