Description
Overriding a student's grade causes the feedback icon to disappear from 'My Grades', confusing students about the presence of feedback.
Steps to Replicate
Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
Navigate to System Admin > Courses and create a new Original Course
Create a new tool link and add My Grades
Create an assignment
Go to Student Preview and submit the assignment
Exit Student Preview and save the data
Go to Needs grading > grade the attempt > leave the feedback > Save
Note: If the user goes to Student Preview at this point, a blue cloud denoting feedback from the instructor is visible in My Grades.
Go to the Grade Center
Override the grade from the gray field
Go to Student Preview and check My Grades
Observed Behavior:
The blue cloud icon, which indicates the presence of feedback, no longer appears in My Grades after a grade is overridden, even though the feedback still exists.
Expected Behavior:
The blue cloud icon should remain visible to the student if feedback has been provided, regardless of whether the grade was overridden.
