Unassigned Groups Participants are Limited to 5000 Even When More are in the Course

When there are more than 5000 students enrolled in a course, the group set page shows that there are 5000 unassigned users and not the total number of students that are enrolled in the course.

Description

When there are more than 5000 students enrolled in a course, the group set page shows that there are 5000 unassigned users and not the total number of students that are enrolled in the course. This makes impossible to search and assign the rest of students.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator

  2. Create a new Ultra course

  3. Enroll more than 5000 users, for example 10000 users

  4. Go to the Course > Groups > New Group Set

  5. Observe that there is the default group set with 0/10000 members

  6. Go inside the group set

Observed Behavior:

There are 5000 unassigned users.

Expected Behavior:

There should be 10000 unassigned users.
