Description

When a grade for a group assignment has already been posted and the instructor subsequently overrides the grade, the overridden grade is not counted in the "To Post" counter. Although the individual Post option remains available for the overridden grade, the overall counter does not reflect the pending grade, and the Post all grades option may be unavailable.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an instructor

  2. Create or an Ultra course

  3. Create a Group Assignment and assign students to a group

  4. Log in as a student in the group and submit an attempt for the assignment

  5. Log back in as the instructor

  6. Navigate to the Assignment and open the student's group submission

  7. Enter a grade for the submission

  8. Click Post to post the grade

  9. Return to the assignment's grading interface

  10. Override the grade by entering a different grade for the individual student

  11. Review the To Post counter

Observed Behavior:

The overridden grade is not included in the To Post counter. The counter displays 0 to post, even though the overridden grade has a Post option available.

Expected Behavior:

The overridden grade should be recognized as pending and included in the To Post counter. The counter should display 1 to post, and the Post all grades option should be available when applicable.
