Text Cursor Jumps in Front of Instead of at the end of Pasted text in Rubric Fields

The cursor moves or remains at the beginning of the text pasted and does not move to the end.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log in to Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator

  2. Navigate to System Admin > Courses > Access a course

  3. Enroll an instructor and a student

  4. Go to the Gradebook > Rubric Assignment

  5. Click the user > Grading Rubrics > Click the Rubric Icon

  6. Overall Feedback screen opens

  7. Click the icon in the first column to leave feedback

  8. Copy the text > Paste into the Feedback area

Observed Behavior:

After pasting the text in the Feedback box, the cursor jumps to the beginning of the text.

Expected Behavior:

After pasting the text in the Feedback box, the cursor should remain at the end of the text.
