Description
When creating a discussion in an Ultra course, disabling the Display on Course Content page option does not prevent the discussion from being added to the Course Content page. After saving the discussion, the content item is still created, and reopening the discussion settings shows the option as enabled again, indicating that the setting was not persisted.
Steps to Replicate
Log in to Blackboard Learn as an administrator
Navigate to System Admin > Courses > Create an Ultra Course
Open the course and navigate to the Discussions tab
Create a new discussion
Open the discussion settings
Uncheck Display on Course Content page
Save the discussion
Navigate to the Course Content page
Reopen the discussion settings
Observed Behavior:
The discussion is still created on the Course Content page. When reopening the discussion settings, the Display on Course Content page option appears checked, as though it had never been disabled.
Expected Behavior:
When Display on Course Content page is unchecked, the discussion should not be created on the Course Content page, and the setting should remain disabled when the discussion settings are reopened.
