Due to upcoming changes in Blackboard LMS, we expect the Honorlock Building Block for Original Course View to stop working. As of December 31, 2026, proctored exams using Honorlock in Blackboard LMS should use Ultra Course View only.

Specific integration partners have exceptions for continued Building Block use. Blackboard contacted these partners about expected changes for Blackboard LMS in the January 2027 release. Honorlock has identified that these changes will likely disrupt the Honorlock Building Block. This integration from Honorlock is a proctoring solution specific to Original Course View.

Blackboard LMS clients using Honorlock for proctored tests should ensure these tests are deployed in Ultra Course View by December 31, 2026. If a test in Original Course must start on or after December 31, 2026, it may be necessary to turn off Honorlock proctoring for the test.
