In June 2024, Cengage and Blackboard released a content migration tool. This tool was built by Blackboard in coordination with Cengage. <br>The purpose was to provide a way for admins to bulk migrate courses using legacy Cengage integration options (e.g., Building Block, Partner Cloud) to the new LTI Advantage integration. <br>Now that legacy integrations have been fully deactivated, we’re announcing that Cengage migration tool will be made inactive permanently on June 30, 2026.

We highly recommend using the tool to transition content from legacy sources, Cengage Building Block and Partner Cloud integrations, before that date to avoid the multi-step effort required to manually delete assignment links and gradebook columns before deploying assignment links via LTI Advantage and reorganizing them.

The tool to migrate links between a Cengage legacy integration and the latest LTI Advantage integration can no longer be used after June 30, 2026. Migrate content now to avoid manual effort
