To Do Module does not Populate

The To Do Module does not populate if an Assignment with a due date is initially created as unavailable.

Description

The To Do Module does not populate if an Assignment with a due date is initially created as unavailable, and later made available. The To Do Module should populate all available items with upcoming due date.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Create a new Course

  2. Enroll a Student

  3. Create one Assignment, with due date tomorrow, leave it available to Students

  4. Create a second Assignment, with due date tomorrow, but create it as unavailable to Students

  5. Login as the Student

  6. Enter the Course and check the To Do Module

Observed Behavior: Only the first Assignment appears since the second is not available yet

  1. As the Instructor set the 2nd Assignment to Available

  2. Make a 3rd Assignment with due date tomorrow and Available

  3. Login as Student

  4. Enter the Course and check the To Do Module

Expected Behavior:
All 3 Assignments are now Available and should show as due tomorrow
​Observed Behavior:
Assignment 1 and 3 show up, but Assignment 2 does not populate the To Do Module despite being Available and due tomorrow
