n some Ultra Documents, attached file links can become invalid after the document is edited and saved, causing users to be redirected to the document page instead of opening the file.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log in to Blackboard Learn and open an Ultra course

  2. Create or open an Ultra Document that contains a file attachment

  3. Open the document in Edit mode

  4. Make any change and save the document

  5. Reopen the document and try to access the attached file

Observed Behavior:

After editing and saving the document, the attached file link no longer works correctly and may open the document page instead of the actual file.

Expected Behavior:

The attached file should remain accessible and open correctly after the document is edited and saved.
