Description
Creating a course from a template using the Snapshot command line tool in CRS_MANUAL mode does not retain Attributes or Smart Views from the template course.
Steps to Replicate
Login as Instructor
Access any course
Go to Full Grade Center > Manage > Smart Views > Create Smart View
Create a smart view with the following attributes:
Name : "Surveys"
"Category and Status" radio button
"Survey" in Categories combo box
"All Users" in Users combo box
Click Submit button
Set the add as favorite flag to the following items: Assignments, Discussion Boards, Tests, Surveys
Run the snapshot command below:
./snapshot.sh|cmd -f CRS_MANUAL -C /usr/local/blackboard/apps/snapshot/data/snapshot.properties -t feedfile.txt -a true
#. Make sure the command is successfulLogin as System Administrator
Access the new course
Go to Full Grade Center
Observed Behavior:
The Discussion Board is not listed as a favorite.
10. Go to Full Grade Center > Manage > Smart Views
Observe Behavior:
The Survey's SmartView is not listed and has been removed.
Expected Behavior:
Attributes and custom Smart Views exist in the new course copied from the template course.
Observed Behavior:
Attributes and custom Smart Views are not retained while performing a CRS_MANUAL from template.
