Automatic Generation and Release of Certificates not Working in TDM v2 (Course Catalog)

When user has achieved the criteria for awarding of the certificate in TDM v2 (Course Catalog) , it is not presenting them with the certificate. The certificate is listed as Pending on the administrative side.

When user has achieved the criteria for awarding of the certificate in TDM v2 (Course Catalog), it is not presenting them with the certificate. The certificate is listed as Pending on the administrative side.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator and access TDM v2

  2. Access Offering Management

  3. Click Add Offering

  4. Fill in all the required fields

  5. Add the Course Template with Survey

  6. Click Submit

  7. Access the offering in Blackboard and set the Maximum Score as 1

  8. From TDM v2, edit the Offering and set the Certificate equal to 1

  9. Login as student and access TDM v2

  10. Click the Catalog and enrol in the Offering

  11. Click the enrolled Offering

  12. Complete the offering Survey

  13. After completing the Survey, it is graded as 1

  14. Click Dashboard

  15. Access the Certificate and verify if the Certificate is generated

Observed Behavior:

Student has achieved the criteria for awarding of the certificate, but this is not presented.

Expected Behavior:

Student has achieved the criteria for awarding of the certificate, and this is automatically presented to them.
