Description
In Original courses, when the email tool is set to unavailable, new posts made to discussion forums on mobile devices do not send email alerts to forum subscribers.
Steps to Replicate
Log into Blackboard Learn as an administrator
Access an Original course
Enroll into the course as an instructor
Navigate to Control Panel > Customization > Tool Availability
Set the Email tool to unavailable
Go to Discussions and create a forum
Access the forum and click on Subscribe
Log in as a student on Blackboard App (using a mobile device)
Access the discussion forum in the course
Click on Create Thread
Enter the Subject and Message
Click on Submit
Observed Behavior:
The instructor does not receive an email alert about the new forum post
Expected Behavior:
The instructor should receive an email alert about the new forum post
