Ally lets you fix several common PDF issues right from the Instructor Feedback panel, without needing to edit the file in separate software:
Missing title – Enter a title in the input field and select Apply fix.
Missing language – Choose the correct language from the dropdown and select Apply fix.
Scanned PDF – Select Preview and Apply to run OCR and generate a searchable version.
Untagged PDF – Select Auto-tag PDF, review the suggested tags, and select Approve all.
After you apply a fix, Ally saves a new version of the file and replaces the old one in your course. We recommend downloading a copy first if you might need the original later, since these changes can't be undone once approved.
