A duplicate user account was created for a number of teachers, which caused the teacher enrollments for the archived/restored classes to incorrectly be enrolled into the newly created user accounts instead of the existing accounts.

A duplicate user account was created for a number of teachers, which caused the teacher enrollments for the archived/restored classes to incorrectly be enrolled into the newly created user accounts instead of the existing accounts.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Log into Blackboard

  2. System Admin > Users > Example User: ABC_185

  3. Class Enrollments

Observed Behavior:
13 classes are displayed.
​Expected Behavior:
The ABC_185 user is also enrolled in the 68 classes that the duplicate user ABC_1851 is enrolled. The duplicate ABC_1851 user should not exist.
