Description
When an instructor/grader is grading an assignment that has multiple files attached as the submission, they are prompted by the browser that they are leaving the page and will lose their progress if they try to download any files after the first file.
Symptoms
Upon clicking the second (or other file after the first), the browser prompts that you're about to leave the page. Clicking Leave actually doesn't remove the comments (despite what it sounds like in the prompt) and clicking Stay prevents the next file from downloading
Steps to Replicate
Create an assignment
Have the students complete the assignment, submitting multiple files in a single attempt.
Go to the Grade Center.
In the column for the assignment, click the Action Link button for a student.
Click the first attachment.
Click Download and download the first attachment.
Type comments in the Grader Feedback.
Click Download next to the second attachment
Expected Behavior:
The next file downloads
Observed Behavior:
The browser prompts that you're about the leave the page.
Cause
When the user enters text into the feedback/comments field, the 'state' of the page changes. The browser is simply trying to help you out and make sure you know that you could be losing data by changing the state of the page again without submitting the form. In this case, though, our feedback form retains the text that's entered, so "leaving the page" is acceptable.
Resolution / Workaround
Click "Leave the Page". The comments will remain and the second/other files will download without issue.
