Wild Cards do not work when Specifying Disabled User Agents Under Cloud Storage Signed URL Settings on SaaS

Wild cards do not work when specifying Disabled User Agents under Cloud Storage Signed URL settings on SaaS.

Description

When specifying Disabled User Agents in Cloud Storage Signed URL Settings wild cards such as * do not work and you have to specify the full user agent string.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Determine the user agent string for the Browser you are using

  2. Create a Course with a file item

  3. Click on the file item > It returns a 302 and the file is downloaded from S3

  4. Go to System Admin > Content Management Settings > Cloud Storage Signed URL Settings

  5. Add the full user agent string in Disabled User Agents and click submit

  6. Click on the file item again > It now returns a 200 and the file is downloaded from Learn

  7. Go to System Admin > Content Management Settings > Cloud Storage Signed URL Settings

  8. Remove the existing user agent string from Disabled User Agents and add a string containing a wildcard such as

    *Mozilla*

    ,

    Mozilla*

    etc and click submit

  9. Click on the file item again.

Observed Behavior:
It returns a 302 and the file is downloaded from S3 so the string in Disabled User Agents does not match based on wild cards

Expected Behavior:
It returns a 200 and the file is downloaded from Learn as it matches based on the wildcard
