Upgrade to the newest minor version of Java 11 ahead of 3900.116 release

Self-hosted and managed-hosted Blackboard clients need to upgrade to the latest minor version of Java 11 ahead of 3900.116 release for the application to run properly. SaaS clients are not affected by this update.
The latest minor version of Java 11, version 11.0.26.4-1, includes important updates and improvements. Clients must upgrade to the latest version of Java 11 from their respective Java vendors. This can be done from the Amazon Corretto website.
Clients must complete these upgrades by May 1, 2025to ensure their Blackboard instance continues to function properly.

Before applying the Cumulative Update, please take a system backup and make sure you have a backup plan in place. The installer is run on the command line using Gradle, Maven, and an installer properties file. This also requires your system to be down for the upgrade/installation. Further installation instructions can be found here.
Managed Hosting clients may submit a case to the Anthology Support Center to schedule the implementation of this release.
