What file types does Ally check for accessibility?

Ally currently checks:

  • PDF files

  • Microsoft Word files

  • Microsoft PowerPoint files

  • OpenOffice/LibreOffice files

  • Uploaded HTML files

  • Image files (JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, TIFF)

  • WYSIWYG/VTBE content

  • YouTube videos embedded in WYSIWYG/VTBE content

Content needs to be attached to a course to be scored. You'll typically receive a score within 15-90 seconds, though it can take longer for complex content or large batches.
